Your veterinarian is your pet’s advocate and will always recommend the best options for your pet’s health and well-being.
If your pet is admitted to Summit Dog and Cat Hospital, you will receive a detailed treatment estimate outlining the recommended services, along with an explanation of the procedures and associated fees. We will review this estimate with you and obtain your authorization before proceeding with treatment.
You are welcome to request an estimate for any recommended services at any time.

Payment Policy
Full payment is required at the time of service. Summit Dog and Cat Hospital does not offer in-house payment plans. Third-party financing options are available through CareCredit and Cherry. Summit Dog and Cat Hospital accepts the following payment options:

*Please note: If this is your
first visit to our hospital, we are unable to accept payment by check.

When unexpected illness strikes a pet, unexpected expense strikes as well. Summit Dog and Cat Hospital understands this and is able to make some special arrangements through payment programs:
CareCredit program. It takes just 5 minutes to complete an application and will allow you to break down your payment into 6 monthly installments. You can either apply at our hospital, where we’ll call in your application over the phone for immediate approval, or apply yourself online at:

Important Payment Update
As of May 1, 2023, Summit Dog and Cat Hospital has implemented, a 3.99% non-cash adjustment fee applies to credit card transactions. Debit cards are accepted only if they have a Visa or Mastercard logo. These cards are processed as credit cards, and the 3.99% fee will apply.
To avoid this fee, we gladly accept payments made by:
- Cash
- Check (with identification verification)
- CareCredit
- Cherry
