Across the nation, the veterinary field has been experiencing an influx of appointment requests. Because of this, we have found that we are booking appointments a few weeks out for non-emergent cases. We do our best to accommodate every client by strategically scheduling appointments, but sometimes we still need to defer patients to a future date.
Recently we’ve experienced an increased number of ‘no-show’ appointments or last-minute cancellations, which means that an appointment spot becomes available but with no time to fill it. To ensure other pets have the opportunity to access the medical care they need, we will be implementing a no-show / late cancellation fee.
Effective February 21, 2023, we will begin enforcing this new policy. If an appointment is cancelled less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time, or the appointment is missed, a $99.00 fee will be billed to your account. If you need to reschedule or cancel an appointment, you must call us directly at (908) 273-2200. Please note: To reschedule or cancel an appointment, please call our office directly at (908) 273-2200. PetDesk and email should not be used for appointment cancellations. Please call the office!
